I came to the United States on my own to become an attorney and serve in the best criminal justice system in the world after seeing the corruption in Romania and how little the rule of law mattered. After graduating from Stetson University (B.A. with summa cum laude honors) and Stetson Law (J.D. with magna cum laude honors), I clerked for a federal magistrate judge and was selected soon after to serve as a federal prosecutor in the Attorney General’s Honors Program. I am currently clerking for a federal district judge for the Southern District of New York. I will never take for granted the chance to get up in court and say “I represent the U.S.” and solve people’s most pressing legal issues in the country that I believe in the most.
